The ORIGYN Token (OGY) is ORIGYN’s native utility token. It is used to create ORIGYN Digital Certificates, mint ORIGYN NFTs and interact with the ORIGYN Protocol. OGY is a utility token, in accordance with the standards of the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA), and is publicly traded on centralized and decentralized exchanges.

OGY plays an important role in the ORIGYN ecosystem. It is used to access and interact with ORIGYN’s Certificate Management Platform, where certificates and NFTs are minted, authenticated, managed, priced and transacted. OGY can also be staked by individual holders in order to generate voting power to help govern ORIGYN.
