# How to Swap Legacy OGY to SNS OGY

The swap procedure is conducted through the new [ORIGYN dashboard](https://dashboard.origyn.com).

1. Login to the dashboard with your preferred wallet.\

2. Go to "My Account" by clicking on your principal and "My Account"\

3. You will be greeted by the swap interface. There are three simple steps to swap your tokens\

   * **Step 1:** If you have any tokens in the old OGY governance, you need to **withdraw those from the old stakes**. For this, navigate to the [old ORIGYN dashboard](https://governance.origyn.network/) by clicking on the button "Step 1" and withdraw your tokens (see [guide here](/origyn/how-to/how-to-withdraw-tokens-from-legacy-ogy-governance.md)).\

   * **Step 2: Deposit any tokens** that you want to swap to the new dashboard. For this, deposit the tokens to your account id which is shown in "Step 2".\

   * **Step 3: Swap your tokens** by clicking on "Swap your tokens" in step 3. A popup will let you confirm the swap. Any tokens in your current balance on the dashboard will be swapped.\

     Depending on the wallet you are using, you may be requested to confirm the interaction with the ledger. The swap can take a few seconds. Sit back and relax while your tokens are being swapped
4. When the swap went through successful, you will see them in your "Available OGY" balance\

In a next step, you can now stake your OGY tokens in the new ORIGYN governance.<br>
