🗝️How to join the OpenChat private channel?

The reason for opening a Private Group in OpenChat is to encourage and connect committed members to each other, in order to build a stronger community.

OpenChat is a decentralized chat app based on Internet Computer’s Blockchain.

How to join the private channel:

Log in

1. First of all join the general group here. Click on "Join Channel".

Use your Internet Identity -the one you have used for stake your OGY- to log in.

1. Once you have entered the channel, you will be part of the general group. To enter the 5YC private chat you will have to prove that you meet the requirements. To do so, you'll need to add your hotkey in your staked OGY NNS Neuron.

How to add your hotkey in your staked OGY NNS Neuron:

1. Your hotkey is your user id in OpenChat, which you can find in Profile settings (by clicking your profile pic) > Advanced > User id.

1. Once you have your User id located, just copy and paste it as a hotkey on your OGY staked neuron in NNS. To do so, first Sign In with your Internet Identity on the NNS Platform.

1. Once you have logged in, go to the "Neuron Staking" section.

1. Select your staked OGY Neuron.

1. Scroll down to the bottom of the page until you find the "Add Hotkey" section. Then copy and paste your OpenChat's UserID.

1. Once you have added the corresponding hotkey you will be able to acces to the 5YC Private Chat in OpenChat.
